Barcelona are focusing on a deal for Real Sociedad striker Willian Jose.
Marca says Real Sociedad‘s financial demands for Jose are considered high by Barcelona, but the Blaugrana are not willing to throw in the towel.
The Brazilian striker is their primary target to cover for Luis Suarez and Ousmane Dembele, who will both be sidelined until the end of the season.
His buyout clause is set at €70m and, although the price is negotiable, an agreement doesn’t appear to be easy.
Dembele will undergo surgery on Tuesday, when the time of his recovery is expected to be determined.
If he is out for more than five months, then Barcelona should be able to proceed with the signing of a striker based in Spain.
