Sevilla chief Monchi is delighted with Luuk de Jong‘s form on-loan at Barcelona.
The Holland centre-forward has been a revelation since the appointment at Barca of coach Xavi.
De Jong will return to Sánchez Pizjuán in June, when his loan ends, and Sevilla‘s objective, taking into account the names in attack that coach Julen Lopetegui‘s squad has, is to sell him this summer.
Barça does not have a permanent option in the loan arrangement and given his form, there’s the prospect of being priced out of a deal for De Jong.
The 32 year-old’s impact has now put him in the shop window ahead of the summer market.
