Valencia captain Jose Luis Gaya says he’s happy where he is.
Gaya insists he’s never considered a move away.
He said, “I have always been happy at Valencia. Of course now I am happier, as a captain I feel very important and much loved by the fans. The renewal? I say it sincerely, it’s a topic I don’t like to talk about, my agents take care of it.
“Now I’m focused on the national team and I want to have a good season with my team.”
On Barcelona‘s interest, he added: “I know of the interest in what came out in the press, but nobody told me anything. I am very happy in Valencia, which is my home.”
