Long time agent Josep Maria Minguella has been confirmed as part of Emili Rousaud’s Barcelona presidential ticket – and announced Erling Haaland is also on the team.
Minguella, who brought both Diego Maradona and Lionel Messi to Barca, says they know the terms Haaland wants to join Barca from Borussia Dortmund.
“We know all the conditions and if we win, the next day I call (Haaland’s agent) Mino Raiola and we’ll accept the conditions. I have already told him,” he revealed, while also admitting working on PSG striker Kylian Mbappe.
“That is somewhat more complicated because he ends the contract the following year”, although “we are on top of the issue and movements have already been made. We are there.”
Rousaud said of Minguella that “we met a few months ago, I had already left the board. The analysis of Barça’s situation impressed me with his knowledge of world football. He has a Barça heart, he brought us Maradona, Stoichkov, Rivaldo, Romario, Messi, with his son Ansu Fati. He is part of this history, an honour and pride for me.”
Rousaud, during his presentation, also revealed plans to bring Hristo Stoichkov back to the club.
