Lyon ace Memphis Depay is determined to do what he can to land a move to Barcelona.
Having been blocked from moving to Barca over the summer, Depay remains hopeful of eventually landing his switch in 2021 – preferably in January.
An agreement over personal terms has long existed, but Depay has now made a new gesture to help things along.
Mundo Deportivo says the Holland striker has agreed to take a significant pay-cut for the first year of his contract to fall in line with the remainder of Barca’s quad.
Barca hope to do business with Lyon for around &eiro;10-15m in January.
