Barcelona have tabled an opening bid for Manchester City defender Eric Garcia.
Barca revived talks with City this week for the Spain U21 international – a graduate from La Masia.
Spanish journalist Oriol Domenech stated: “Òscar Grau (Barca director) has already called Manchester City to make an offer of 10 million euros.
“City has said no.”
It’s understood City are demanding €25m to sell Garcia, who is inside the final 12 months of his contract.
For their part, Barca are reluctant to go higher than €15m for a player they can welcome for nothing next summer.
