Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu insists there’s no panic after their 2-0 defeat at Real Madrid.
The result sees Barca drop to second on the table, a point behind Real.
A dip in form from Zinedine Zidane’s charges actually allowed the Cules to leapfrog them in the domestic standings, yet goals from Vinicius and Mariano Diaz have put the Madrid club back in control.
“There’s no problem, the league season carries on and it’s very long,” Bartomeu explained in a brief dialogue with reporters at El Prat airport.
Quique Setien and his team returned to the Barcelona training ground on Monday morning for a recovery session and full training is set to resume on Wednesday morning ahead of Saturday’s meeting with Real Sociedad.
