Carlos Perez is on track for a new deal at Barcelona.
Marca says he has featured in each of Barcelona‘s first three games and scored his first competitive goal for the Catalan club’s first team in the 5-2 win over Real Betis.
The Spaniard last renewed his contract at the Camp Nou in the summer of 2018, signing a new two-year deal with an option for an extra two years.
As part of the agreement, those extra two years will be confirmed if Perez plays five more matches for Barcelona‘s senior team.
If that clause is triggered, his wages will also increase.
