Barcelona coach Xavi is delighted having a fully fit Pedri available.
The midfielder impressed in victory at Cadiz on Saturday.
Xavi said: “Cádiz is a team that presses very well but when you have Pedri he is capable of taming the beasts, I have always said that he seems to me to be a superlative player.
“He doesn’t lose balls and gives us a lot, I insist that he is a different player, we have missed him a lot.”
Xavi also said of fellow youngster Pau Cubarsi: “I take into account that he is a player who has played fewer games than the others, he has less effort and he is a fundamental player for how he comes out and how he wins duels. I always say that he will mark an era. From the way he plays he seems much older.”
