San Jose Earthquakes striker Chris Wondolowski is closing in on Landon Donovan’s record of 145 MLS regular-season goals.
On Saturday night the legendary Quake added to his tally, scoring his 141st goal against Toronto FC as his goal helped San Jose earn a point at home against the defending champions. He managed to chip a rebound off his own shot over TFC goalkeeper Alex Bono in the 77th minute.
Wondolowski will continue his chase next Saturday when the Quakes play host to Vancouver Whitecaps FC (10 pm ET | TSN — Full TV & streaming info).
