RBNY product Tyler Adams bags first Bundesliga assist in RB Leipzig win

Tyler Adams has made a quick study of the German Bundesliga since his winter arrival from the New York Red Bulls. 

The rising US national team star led RB Leipzig to a 3-1 win over Stuttgart in his fourth league start, taking up his usual defensive midfield role at the heart of Die Roten Bullen‘s 4-2-2-2 shape.

Adams capped a strong overall performance with an assist, his first in Germany, on the game-icing third goal.

Surging into Stuttgart’s half with the ball at his feet, the New York native pulled a retreating defense out of shape before slotting a savvy pass for Yussuf Poulsen to dispatch for his second strike of the day:
