The rising US national team star led RB Leipzig to a 3-1 win over Stuttgart in his fourth league start, taking up his usual defensive midfield role at the heart of Die Roten Bullen‘s 4-2-2-2 shape.

Adams capped a strong overall performance with an assist, his first in Germany, on the game-icing third goal.
Surging into Stuttgart’s half with the ball at his feet, the New York native pulled a retreating defense out of shape before slotting a savvy pass for Yussuf Poulsen to dispatch for his second strike of the day:

The finished product of Tyler Adams is going to be very valuable. He’s been such a big addition to Leipzig. 11 goals scored, 1 conceded with him on the field. Amazing assist today & he’ll be playing in the Champions League next year. Credit to #RBNY for his development
