Juventus vs. Frosinone – Football Match Report – February 15, 2019

Serie A leaders Juventus made light work of Frosinone as they scored twice in the first 20 minutes on the way to a 3-0 win over the relegation-threatened side on Friday.

Paulo Dybala fired Juventus ahead after six minutes with a shot from the edge of the penalty area and defender Leonardo Bonucci, returning from injury, added the second 11 minutes later.

“He had a great performance and scored a great goal. The attackers live for this,” Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri said of Dybala. “Juventus needs a player like him, who is good on the lines. This year the development of the game makes him find less space to score, but he is continuing to play very well.”

Cristiano Ronaldo got on the scoresheet with his 19th league goal of the season when he swept home Mario Mandzukic‘s pass in the 63rd minute.

“It was a good match, for rhythm and for the technical level shown. We did something wrong in the second half, but the result was already safe and we were good at closing the game before,” defender Mattia De Sciglio said.

Juventus, who visit Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday, went 14 points clear of second-placed Napoli as they chase an eighth successive title.

“The feelings are positive, although we are aware that it will be a very difficult game,” De Sciglio said of the upcoming match. “The qualification will be played over 180 minutes, but already on Wednesday we will have the right attitude from the first minute.”
