Paris Saint Germain have been hit with another major injury blow ahead of their UEFA Champions League clash against Manchester United on Tuesday 12th February with striker Edinson Cavani picking up an injury.
Paris Saint Germain edged Bordeaux 1-0 in a French Ligue 1 game but that came at a cost with Cavani picking up an injury and is now doubtful for the United game. The Uruguayan scored from the spot in the 42nd minute to put PSG ahead, but shortly after he signaled to the bench that he had picked up an injury.
Cavani was taken off before the half time break and was replaced by Kylian Mbappe with PSG holding on for the 1-0 win. The extent of the injury is unclear at the moment, but it could be another blow for Thomas Tuchel ahead of Tuesday’s visit to Old Trafford for the first leg. PSG will have do without Neymar in the Manchester United game with midfielder Marco Verratti also a doubt.
