TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Signings
FC Cincinnati made six selections at the 2019 SuperDraft and now all six are signed.
Cincy inked five unsigned draft picks Wednesday – Tommy McCabe, Logan Gdula, Rashawn Dally, Ben Lundt and Jimmy Hague. No. 1 overall pick Frankie Amaya was already under contract by virtue of being part of the Generation adidas class.
“We’re excited for these five players to begin their professional careers,” FC Cincinnati head coach Alan Koch said in a statement provided by the team. “Each player has shown their potential during the course of preseason, and have embraced the opportunity to learn from the experienced professionals on our team. We’re eager to see each player apply himself and work to get better each and every day.”
A defender from Wake Forest, Gdula was selected in the first round, No. 13 overall.
McCabe, a midfielder from Notre Dame, was chosen with the fifth pick of the second round. Lundt and Hague, both goalkeepers, were each selected later in round two.
Dally, a midfielder from Quinnipiac, was the first player selected in the third round. He was the club’s final selection, as FC Cincy passed on their remaining two picks.
It’s unclear if all six will remain on the club’s roster during the season or be loaned out to USL.
