Mario Balotelli Reveals Destination For Retirement

Former AC Milan, Liverpool and Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli has revealed the name of the club he would like to end his playing days at, and the answer will surprise many.

The controversial Italy international recently terminated his contract with Ligue 1 outfit Nice, subsequently penning a contract with Marseille until the end of the season.

Balotelli, who grew up in Brescia, has now revealed his desire to play for his hometown club, which currently sits at the summit of the Serie B log, with 39 points amassed from a possible 63.

The former Inter Milan man also appeared to have a dig at Italy’s top flight in the process, suggesting that he would snub a return to Serie A because it is “too tactical and a bit boring”.

“I never really thought about going back to (Italy) in these months,” he was quoted as saying by Fox Sports Asia.

“But I do not deny that I would like to close my career at Brescia.”

The 28-year-old has made 12 appearances in the 2018/19 Ligue 1 campaign thus far, but has found the back of the net on just one occasion.

Which club do you think would be ideal for Balotelli to end his career at? Let us know in the comments section below.
