ARSENAL legends Patrick Vieira and Thierry Henry watched as their sides played to a 1-1 draw tonight.
It was the battle between the two Gunners legends, who won two league titles and FA Cup’s together.

Former Arsenal skipper Viera welcomed Henry to North London in 1999, as the Frenchman joined from Monaco.

The duo spent six seasons together, before Viera would swap London for Turin when he signed for Juventus.

Tonight they met as managers, with Henry returning to the club he left for Arsenal, as he took over as Monaco manager in.

Viera’s side took the lead on half hour mark as Allan Saint-Maxin broke free picking up the ball just outside the box and slotted home.

Just before half-time Nice were reduced to 10 men as striker Ihsan Sacko was shown a straight red card for stomping on Benjamin Henrichs.

Five minutes after half-time and Monaco were level when Benoît Badiashile headed home for a Monaco corner.

The referee was forced to use VAR to conform the ball had crossed the line as it looked as though Walter Daniel Benítez had done enough to keep the ball out.

However, replays proved the whole ball had crossed the line as Henry’s side were drew level.
