While Roma didn’t exactly wow anyone with their performance in the group stages of the Champions League, with three victories in six matches, their nine points were good enough to ensure safe passage into the knockout stage, where, as last season showed, anything can happen. However, before we can fret about that we need to know who they’ll be playing, which will be decided any minute now in Nyon, Switzerland.
Given that the draw occurs at an ungodly hour for a work day, we’ll leave it as an open thread, but the draw itself can be found right here. Feel free to share your instant reaction and predictions, we’ll have a more formal look at Roma’s next opponent in the coming days.
The round of 16 kicks off on February 12th and runs through March 13th. Fingers crossed we get a doable one.
