KYLIAN MBAPPE has ditched his posters of Cristiano Ronaldo on his bedroom walls – and replaced them with pictures of himself.
The French striker, 20, took to Instagram just before New Year to celebrate his fine 2018.

2018 was a stellar year for Paris Saint-Germain and France forward Mbappe
He recreated an old photo of him in his bedroom surrounded by his idol Ronaldo in action.
Only this time the walls were covered in some of his highlights from last year.
Most prominent of all is the picture of Mbappe kissing the World Cup he helped France win in the summer.
There is also the front page of Time magazine, various goal celebrations for Paris Saint-Germain and picture alongside strike partner Neymar holding the Ligue 1 trophy.
He bagged 30 goals in the calendar year, including four in one match against Lyon in October
PSG won the treble last season – the league and both domestic cups – and Mbappe scored 30 goals in the calendar year to see his side finish 2018 13 points clear of Lille in second.
On an individual level, Mbappe was named Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year, a two-time Player of the Month and in the Ligue 1 Team of the Year.
He was also named the Best Young Player at the World Cup, came fourth in Fifa’s The Best Men’s Player award and fourth in the Ballon d’Or.
And to round it all off the forward was named in the Fifa FIFPro World XI, France’s Player of the Year and won the inaugural Kopa Trophy for the best player under the age of 21. Not bad for a man that was still a teenager a fortnight ago.

For Ronaldo, it was yet another record-breaking season. He was the Champions League top scorer for the sixth season on the bounce and won the tournament for a fifth time.
He bagged a hat-trick at the World Cup but Portugal crashed out in the last-16 stage before he joined Juventus for £99million in the summer.
He still ended 2018 as Real Madrid’s top scorer despite his departure and enjoyed a successful year off the field too.
Ronaldo overtook Selena Gomez to become the most-followed person on Instagram and got engaged to girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez.
