TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Report
Reggie Cannon enjoyed a breakout season for FC Dallas in 2018, and that has reportedly led to interest from south of the border.
CBS Sports’ Roger Gonzalez reported on Wednesday that Cannon has drawn “multiple offers” from Liga MX clubs. While the teams are not named, the report indicates several teams are bidding for the player.
Cannon’s former FC Dallas manager, Oscar Pareja, was named Club Tijuana head coach on Tuesday. Prior reports indicated the Colombian would be looking to add several FC Dallas players at Xolos.
But Dallas-area based reporter Jon Arnold reported on Wednesday that FC Dallas officials said there were no offers on the table from Liga MX teams for any of their players as of Tuesday.
Didn’t think this would come up, but it seems that it has. In the course of those conversations I asked about any other offers from Liga MX clubs & was told no Mexican team has tabled an offer for any FCD player (as of yesterday). https://t.co/1uOWO9FIpS

Cannon, 20, started 33 games in MLS regular season play and one in the Audi 2018 MLS Cup Playoffs, locking down the right back spot for Dallas. The Homegrown Player also received his first senior US men’s national team caps this year.
