Former England international thinks that working under Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool would be better for Pulisic, should he decide to move from Dortmund.
Shaka Hislop weighs in on Alvaro Morata’s decision to see a psychologist to help him deal with the “pressure and emotions” at Chelsea.
N’Golo Kante has signed a new contract at Chelsea that keeps him at Stamford Bridge until June 2023.
The new deal, which represents a two-year extension, reportedly takes the 27-year-old’s wages to around £290,000-a-week making him the highest-paid player in the club’s history.
“I’m happy to extend my time with Chelsea, it has been two beautiful years and I wish for more to come,” Speaking at the announcement of his extension, Kante told Chelsea’s website.
“Since I came, I completely improved as a player, challenged myself and got some awards I never thought about. I like the city, I like the club and I am happy to be here for more time.”
Kante joined Chelsea from Leicester City for a fee of around £30 million in the summer of 2016, having just played a pivotal role in their miraculous Premier League title triumph.
He won the league again in his first season at Stamford Bridge, becoming the first player since Eric Cantona to finish top of England’s top flight with two different clubs in consecutive seasons, and was voted the PFA Player of the Year and FWA Footballer of the Year for 2017 in light of his performances.
Kante formed a key part of the France team that won the World Cup in Russia under Didier Deschamps, and he was subsequently named in the FIFPro World XI.
Chelsea, who committed Marcos Alonso to a new long-term contract last month, hope tying down Kante will strengthen their case to convince Eden Hazard to opt against pursuing his “dream” move to Real Madrid next summer and instead sign a new deal.
