Germany Announce Squad For UEFA Nations League Clash Against France

Germany coach Joachim Low has named his squad for their upcoming clashes against bitter rivals the Netherlands and 2018 FIFA World Cup winners France, but once again snubbed a few big names.

The 2014 world champions were humbled at the World Cup in Russia, where they were eliminated at the group stage for the first time ever.

They managed a 0-0 draw in their UEFA Nations League opener against France during the previous international break, and will now face the Netherlands on 13 October, before playing the return match against Les Bleus three days later.

Low has once again made a few changes to his squad, and has given Schalke striker Mark Uth a maiden call-up, while Ilkay Gundogan and Nils Petersen missed out due to injury.
