KYLIAN MBAPPE’S PSG face his former club, AS Monaco, in the Trophee des Champions, France’s equivalent of the Community Shield.

What is the Trophee des Champions?

The match, held the weekend before the Ligue 1 season-opener pitches the winner’s of the domestic and cup against one another, much like the Community Shield in England.

As PSG secured both titles in the season just gone, the opposition will be the league runners-up, Monaco.

The tie will be a repeat of last season’s fixture, when PSG secured the Trophee in a 2-1 win.

PSG are gunning for their sixth successive victory in the match.

When is PSG vs Monaco?

The game will be played on Saturday, 4th August.

As is the tradition, the fixture will be played overseas, with China hosting this year.

Shenzhen Universiade Sports Centre will be the venue.

Kick-off is at 1pm UK time, 8pm local.

Which TV channel is it on and can I live stream it?

The match has not been selected by UK broadcasters, meaning that it will not be shown on UK TV.
