Roony Bardghji ‘feels ready’ to leave Copenhagen; welcomes Chelsea, Barcelona interest

Roony Bardghji says he feels ready to leave FC Copenhagen for a bigger club.

The Swedish teen is likely to leave this summer with Europe’s biggest clubs all watching him.

He told Ekstrabladet, “I feel ready, but when it will be – whether it is now or later – I don’t know. Right now I’m focusing on getting in top shape and playing football. Then we’ll see what happens.”

On talk of interest from Chelsea and Barcelona, he continued: “It is a dream. It’s always nice to hear about something like that, because it means you’ve done well. But I try not to think too much about it.

“It is special. But it’s nothing that stresses me out. I only take the positive in it and see it as motivation. That means I have to continue as I am doing and of course try to do it even better.”

Bardghji added: “A top five league. It would be great to play in them. It’s one of them I want to play in.”
