Barcelona coach Xavi admits he raised his voice to the players at halftime of their win against Almeria.
After today’s friendly defeat to Club America in Dallas, Xavi commented on the story that appeared in the Spanish press.
He said, “I try to be sincere and honest, speak to your face, I can’t hide.
“Screams? Tension, normal, it’s a locker room, we had a lot at stake and I thought it was appropriate to raise my voice a little, nothing more. From here on I think the team has reacted very well, very well, in the locker room we are a team, a big family.
“They are professionals and they understood it very well, in the second half they took the path in which we have to stay and now to make a stop, a rest, to face 2024 with great desire and enthusiasm.”
