Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone is targeting a deal for Manchester City striker Julian Alvarez.
That’s according to Ok Diario’s chief pundit Eduardo Inda, when speaking on El Chiringuito.
Inda revealed: “A player who cost 127 million (euros) and who has taken four years to stand out. I’m talking about Joao Félix. Atlético waits to see if he continues in this rhythm and at the end of the season they sells him.
“Simeone doesn’t like Joao Félix at all. Their confrontation has been perennial since he joined. El Cholo wants one of the two players that I’m going to say. They are Argentine and they are super stars.
“El Cholo loves Lautaro Martínez. If het doesn’t come, let it come Julián Álvarez. It is a very big money operation and for that it is necessary to sell Joao Félix, who cost 127 million. If you do not sell for a similar amount, you will have to put less on that investment that you made.”
Felix is currently impressing on-loan with Barcelona.
