Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has taken a swipe at coach Xavi’s tactics.
The Pole feels Xavi should employ more attacking tactics.
“Offensive football. Lately that hasn’t been the way it should be, so we’ve been struggling to create more chances in games,” he said. “When we see Ferran or Ansu, two players going forward, we create more chances.
“Sometimes we don’t play with enough attacking players, I don’t have support … so I’m looking for the best solution for the team.
“I think that with my experience, when I know my body, I look for the best solution not only for myself, but also for the team. I realise that sometimes, if I’m between two stoppers, it’s easier for defenses. In many games I don’t have many chances to score. In the last two games I did not have many opportunities, I did not receive many balls, so sometimes I had to create my chances.”
