New Barcelona sporting director Deco is chasing a deal for Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha.
Deco has been tasked with the brief to find a replacement for former Barca captain Sergi Busquets.
And he is turning to fellow Portuguese Palhinha.
The midfielder is also interesting West Ham and is available from Fulham this summer.
Sport says Palhinha is on Deco’s shortlist, which also includes Sofyan Amrabat (Fiorentina) and Florentino Luis (Benfica).
