The father of PSG star Leo Messi has accepted a world record contract offer from Al Hilal for next season.
Off contract from PSG in June, Messi has had contact with former club Barcelona and Manchester City this month as he considers his options.
However, Foot Mercato says Messi’s father Jorge has been in Riyadh for talks with Al Hilal.
And an offer of €1.2bn has been tabled – which Jorge has accepted on Leo’s behalf. The deal is for two years.
However, with nothing yet signed, Messi’s future remains undecided, though the Saudis are now regarded as favourites in the race for his commitment.
