However the club are sure that offers will arrive for Christensen and the big danger could come from Newcastle, who are paying a lot of attention to the Dane — and their capacity for investment is unlimited.
Barca’s idea with Christensen is to keep him, and they may even look to renew his deal next season. But an offer bigger than his market rate could change the story.
