Barcelona coach Xavi was delighted for president Joan Laporta after their Supercopa de Espana victory.
Barca were comfortable winners against Real Madrid in Riyadh on Sunday.
Xavi, on Laporta, said, “I’m happy for him too. He has opted for this project and I am especially happy for him, for the players and for the fans. And that was not easy.
“But it does not mean more than a title.
“We have a very good generation and this hunger for titles has been noticed. Hopefully it will be a turning point, but on Thursday we have to go down to Ceuta and this continues and we cannot stop.”
