The French youngster joined Arsenal from Lens in 2015 and big things were expected from him but he has failed to make the step up despite impressing Arsenal fans during his brief cameos.
He spent the second half of last season on loan with Angers and it seems as if he is heading back there, most likely permanently. After reports claimed the move was on, The Jeff was at their training ground on Wednesday night according to France Football.
Ouest France on Wednesday claimed that Reine-Adelaide had made Angers a ‘priority destination’. There is a possibility that Arsenal will let him leave on loan, but the club are expected to push for a permanent sale as his contract expires next summer.
Whatever ends up happening, it looks as if The Jeff is another youngster spotted by Arsene Wenger’s team that won’t be making a senior breakthrough at the club.
Angers lost 1-0 to Caen on Wednesday evening. The only goal of the game came via the penalty spot, slotted home past Ludovic Butelle by Ronny Rodelin in the 28th minute.
