Barcelona defender Sergi Roberto hit out at ref Mateu Lahoz after their derby draw with Espanyol.
Lahoz sent two players off and issued 15 yellow cards in the 1-1 draw.
Roberto, on Jordi Alba‘s dismissal, said: “Mateu did not know that he already had a card, he had forgotten…”
Roberto admitted that he “has surprised us” with his decision.
The Barcelona right-back did not question the action for the Espanyol penalty, which earned them a draw: “I could not see it, but I suppose it was,” although he said that the referee “has damaged us a bit.”
