Man Utd, Liverpool join battle for Leeds attacker Raphinha

Manchester United and Liverpool have joined the battle for Leeds United attacker Raphinha.

Sport says London trio Chelsea, Tottenham and particularly Arsenal are interested in landing him this summer.

The Gunners saw their first bid rejected but are set to go back to Leeds with an improved offer.

However, they now face competition from United and Liverpool.

Raphinha’s dream move would still be to Barcelona – but their financial struggles could rule a deal out, especially if they succeed in their pursuit of Robert Lewandowski.

Personal terms with Barca are said to have been arranged way back in March thanks to the forward being represented by ex-Nou Camp hero Deco.

It is though both he and Raphinha remain hopeful of securing a deal to take the nine-cap international to LaLiga.
