Cesar Azpilicueta‘s future with Chelsea will be decided next week.
Azpilicueta, 32, is currently away with Spain on Nations League duty. Their final game is played on Sunday.
Barcelona are targeting the veteran defender, though reluctant to pay a transfer fee. Azpilicueta has 12 months left on his contract, with Chelsea having triggered an option in April
Blues boss Thomas Tuchel has hinted that Chelsea‘s longest serving player could be allowed to leave for nothing as a reward for his loyalty and key part in bringing huge success to the club.
Talks will be held next week about Azpilicueta’s situation, with the skipper hoping not to be forced into making a transfer request after ten years with the club.
