Barcelona are confident of closing a deal for Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.
Sport says Polish media sources have put numbers on the transfer and say the final deal will be closer to €40 million euros, plus a variable bonus. It’s a price Bayern Munich can’t reject, taking into account the player ends his deal in 2023 and has told the club he does not want to renew.
Lewandowski also only wants to come to Barcelona. He’s chosen to be the new leader of Xavi’s project.
He has agreed on terms with Barcelona already over a three-year deal.
His agent Pini Zahavi has been in Barcelona this week, buying shirts in the club shop on Passeig de Gracia with Lewandowski’s name on the back.
