Barcelona earned a point from Espanyol on Sunday with a 2-2 draw.
Luuk de Jong scored a stoppage-time winner to spare Barcelona‘s blushes in Sunday’s derby against Espanyol at RCDE Stadium.
Pedri had opened the scoring inside 90 seconds but strikes from Sergi Darder and Raul de Tomas has the home side on track for a first league win over Barca since 2009.
However, substitute De Jong headed in Adama Traore‘s cross deep into stoppage time to earn a point for Xavi’s side after Gerard Pique and Nico Melamed had been sent off.
It’s a point that keeps Barca in the top four courtesy of their better goal difference over Atletico Madrid, who are level with them on 39 points.
