Armenia coach Joaquin Caparros believes Daniel Alves can make a positive impact with Barcelona.
Barca completed the signing of Alves as a free agent this week.
Former Athletic Bilbao coach Caparros said: “When Alves comes to Barcelona, it is because they see him in tune. The one who had to say ‘yes’ was his coach. Perfectly, he could have said no. Alves is a competitive animal. He has between his eyebrows to go to the World Cup and that is why he wanted to be in European competition.
“Dani Alves is going to be used as a right-back because, in addition, Barcelona is not very deep in that position.”
However, Caparros added: “Sevilla have a better squad than Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atlético.”
