36′ Foden’s corner troubles the Hungary defence as Nagy tries to head clear. Gulacsi takes action and punches, but he fails to make contact. The visitors manage to scramble it away before Kane can react.

England are unbeaten in their last 14 matches against Hungary in all competitions (W12 D2) since losing 2-1 at the 1962 World Cup under Walter Winterbottom.
Hungary have made three changes to their side that was beaten by Albania at the weekend. Willi Orban misses out due to injury and is replaced by Kecskes in the backline, while Lang also comes into the side in place of Endre Botka. Schon gets the nod in the final third to replace Salloi, who drops to the bench.
England have made nine changes to their side from their team that beat Andorra last time out. Pickford returns in goal to replace Johnstone. Stones retains his place from the win, but is now joined by Mings, Walker and Shaw in the backline. Foden too holds down a role in the middle of the park as Rice and Mount slot in alongside the Manchester City man. Kane spearheads the attack in the final third with Grealish and Sterling in support.

Hungary know that a defeat tonight would all but end their hopes of qualifying for the World Cup. They begin the evening five points adrift of second-place Albania after suffering a 1-0 defeat at the hands of the Eagles last time out. Marco Rossi’s men now need a surprise result to get their campaign back on track, although it will take a huge effort to beat the Three Lions at Wembley.
England can take a massive stride towards securing a place at the 2022 World Cup tonight by defeating Hungary. Gareth Southgate’s men were in outstanding form last time out in front of goal, putting five past Andorra on the road. The Three Lions now return to home soil and will be eager to maintain their clinical edge against a team that they beat 4-0 last month.
