Barcelona have held talks with agent Mino Raiola about Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
Pogba’s contract expires at the end of this season.
Despite Barça’s delicate financial situation, the board are taking measures to turn things round and to build a powerful team for next season. According to Fichajes.net, one of the names president Joan Laporta is considering is Pogba.
The report claims Laporta recently spoke with Mino Raiola, Pogba’s agent (and Erling Haaland’s), to express an interest in the France star.
Raiola made Laporta aware there’s likely to be a bidding war due to the interest in his client but, if Barça were interested, he would try and convince Pogba to pick them.
The other interested teams are Juventus, who want to re-sign him, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, in addition to United who want to retain him.
