Liverpool are being linked with re-signing Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho.
Mundo Deportivo’s Francesc Aguilar reports Everton, along with Liverpool and Wolves, are interested in signing Coutinho this summer.
The attacker left Liverpool for Barcelona in a club-record deal back in January 2018, but has endured a difficult time in Spain as he struggled to recreate his Anfield form.
Given a second chance at Camp Nou by Ronald Koeman last summer, Coutinho started the season well, but has not played since December after rupturing his meniscus.
Reports in Spain have indicated over the last few months that Barca will look to sell Coutinho this summer as new president Joan Laporta plans a squad overhaul, and according to Aguilar, Liverpool ‘seem the most determined’ to land the playmaker.
The Brazil midfielder is fully fit and now doing preseason with Barca.
