Spain coach Luis Enrique hailed his players for their Euro 2020 victory over Croatia.
Spain are into the quarterfinals after last night’s amazing 5-3 triumph.
Enrique said: “I’m ready for games like this if we have another – but I’m not sure if my family or the fans feel the same. I made a team ready to play matches like this and, frankly, I reckon we only really made one big mistake. The end of the match was so beautiful – I’m glad that the game gave us a second chance to win it.”
On Juventus striker Alvaro Morata, Enrique added: “I don’t think there’s a national team coach anywhere in the world who wouldn’t value Morata and what he does for the team. He’s dominant aerially, he’s strong and he gets us goals. We really need to appreciate having a striker like him.”
