Fresh from signing a new contract, Alex Collado produced a piece of magic for Barcelona B in their vital victory over Alcoyano yesterday.
Barca B won 2-1 as they pushed for the promotion playoffs, with Collado’s wonder goal a highlight. The midfielder, having just agreed a contract extension with Barca, struck a free-kick from well outside the Alcoyano area. Significantly, watching on was Barca coach Ronald Koeman, who was keen to see the club’s young players in action on the day.
