Report: Minnesota United eyeing Ecuadorian winger Romario Ibarra

TRANSFER TRACKER STATUSReport

Minnesota United already have one Ibarra on their roster – could they be set to add another one in the upcoming summer transfer window?

Kristian Dyer and Jeff Reuter reported in The Athletic on Thursday that the Loons are “looking to sign Romario Ibarra in the coming weeks.” Ibarra is a 23-year-old winger who plays in his native Ecuador for Universidad Catolica.

Romario Ibarra – no relation to current Minnesota midfielder Miguel Ibarra – has been capped by Ecuador and is a left winger who’s played in South America the last three years in the Copa Sudamericana.
