Barcelona great Rivaldo admits he’d like to return to the club in working capacity.
The Brazilian, however, says he hasn’t been in contact with any of next month’s presidential candidates.
“It has been in my head for a long time to come back one day, because at Barcelona I have been very, very happy. I want to help the team in its recovery with that possible return. So yes, it is no secret that I am waiting for that possibility because there I triumphed. I wrote a beautiful story in Barcelona,” declared Rivaldo.
“The club is going through a difficult, complicated time. Of course, I am aware of the evolution of the elections that have been called for early 2021, because I wish the best and that there is a rapid improvement.
“But I don’t want to force a situation like this by offering myself to the club without any prior conversation or anything. I’m not interested in a fast lap, I’m in no rush, but I don’t deny that I will always listen to any proposal I have.”
He added: “Any role in which I could help would be welcome, the important thing is to support the club and make it continue to grow, even if it is off the pitch now. Any player who has had a good period in a team would love to come back sometime even though to do other things.”
