Miralem Pjanic was thrilled to make a winning Barcelona debut in last night’s Joan Gamper Trophy.
The Bosnian midfielder came off the bench during the Joan Gamper Trophy against Elche at the Camp Nou on Saturday night.
“It was very special,” Pjanic said at full time.
“Although I would’ve like to have played with a crowd.
“It’s all going very quickly – I’d just started training on my own this time last week.
Ronald Koeman had a word with Pjanic before he entered the field in the second half.
“He gave me confidence and said that it’s up to me,” Pjanic revealed.
“The team is really working hard and I’m working towards the first game.
“We’re ready. The team is doing very well.”
