Barcelona midfielder Artur Vidal is edging closer to a move to Inter Milan.
The Chile international, reports Tuttosport, is waiving €6.5m in Barca wages to join the Nerrazzurri.
Vidal will give up the money owed on the final year of his contract with Barcelona in order to force through his move to Inter.
This means Vidal is likely to leave in a deal structured similar to the one agreed with Sevilla for Ivan Rakitic.
Vidal played for Inter coach Antonio Conte at Juventus.
He is expected to fly out to Italy soon in order to pass a medical and be presented to the media there. The chance of joining up with Conte is a key factor behind the move.
