Luis Suarez has reportedly called Giorgio Chiellini to clear the air ahead of his move to Juventus, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The 33-year-old is poised to leave Barcelona after being told he wasn’t needed by Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman.
A switch to Juventus has been mooted, but the Uruguayan wanted to make sure his potential team-mate Chiellini did not harbour any ill-feelings towards him.
Suarez famously bit Chiellini at the 2014 World Cup during Uruguay’s group game with Italy.
The report also claims Juve have agreed personal terms with Suarez, who will earn £256k-a-week in Turin.
