Tottenham chiefs are reluctant to part with Tanguy Ndombele this summer.
Despite links with Inter Milan and Barcelona this summer, the north London side have no intention of selling the 23-year old and have held no formal talks over his departure, says the Daily Mail.
Tottenham paid a club record £55.45million to Lyon for the midfielder 13 months ago and chairman Daniel Levy is not prepared to take a hit on such a big investment at this stage.
They recognise that despite a promising start, Ndombele has since struggled to settle with niggling injuries, relationships and a move away from close family all playing a part.
Jose Mourinho has expressed a willingness to work with the France international and is hopeful he can turn his fortunes around.
