Barcelona management confident Man Utd won’t tempt Fati away

Barcelona management are confident of the commitment of Ansu Fati.

While Manchester United have made multiple attempts to convince Barca to sell the teen this year, the Catalans are calm about the situation.

Mundo Deportivo says while his current deal has a buyout clause of €170m, Fati is prepared to stick with Barca next season in anticipation of a massive pay-rise.

Fati is expected to be formally named a first team squad member, which will bring with it a huge pay-hike and an increase in his buyout clause to €400m.

United could still meet the winger’s current escape option, but Barca management are confident even if they do, Fati won’t be tempted to leave.

For their part, while finances are tight, Barca have no plans to cash in on their superkid.
