Barcelona striker Martin Braithwaite is ready to face former club Leganes.
The Dane left Butarque in February to join a Barcelona team looking to reinforce their attacking options following the injuries to Luis Suarez and Ousmane Dembele.
“I know them, how they play,” Braithwaite said about his former employers.
“We want to win LaLiga, so we have to win to keep picking up points.
“I’ve spoken to Kevin Rodrigues, who is a great friend of mine.
“I’m really looking forward to playing against them.
“I remember great moments with Leganes, but the win against Sevilla at their stadium in a great game stays with me [above all else].”
“[Javier] Aguirre is a great coach. I have lots of respect for him.
“He came and knew how he wanted to play and he gave confidence to the players.
“But the most important thing about him is the human aspect for me.
“He understands that footballers are people before players.”
